Wednesday's Child -- Annie Lois Howell Vidunas 1920-1973

3 Generation Pedigree
from Ancestry.com

The first person I will blog about is my grandmother, Annie Lois Howell.  She was one of many children born to Fristus and Katie Watkins Howell.  The photo below is Lois with two of her sisters about 1940s perhaps?

Below is her birth certificate.  It appears to be a delayed certificate, or at least it says her name was added to the report in 1945, and was witnessed and sealed in 1970.  Not exactly sure why .  Her father, Fristus Haywood Howell was 48 years old, and her mother Katie Watkins Howell was 26 years old.  She was the fifth child out of a total of 13 children born.

Welcome

Howell is a very common name.  Sometimes it is TOO common.  My Howells come from North Carolina, fought in the Civil War.  The line can be traced back to the Revolutionary era.

As I find interesting information which is blog-worthy, I will include it here for you.  If you see something pertaining to you, write a comment and share for the rest of your family to see.  Contact me using the form on the right.  I'd love to chat.
